SILVER FERN HOSTEL, alguien sabe si esta bien??????porfa...

Somos 4 personas y vamos al silver fern hostel, alguien sabe si esta bien o moriremos en el intento???
y ya que estamos, sabeis como llegar de stansted al hostal???

I won't lie and say that this place has the most luxurious facilities, because it doesn't. If you're looking for non-temperamental, huge showers, then you'd be better off at the Ritz or the Hilton.

If you are, however, looking for having the time of your life and meeting a myriad of people from different backgrounds, this is the place to be at.

The people who work here are extremely nice, from Tyron the Big Boss (aka the dude who wears that ubiquitous hat) to Daniel (dude who wears a blue and white Aiesec in Poland key holder) to Anna, the nice lady who had the misfortune of cleaning room numro eleven. There's another guy who works there during the day---Machek (sp?)---who kinda looks like that long-haired dude from the movie "Unfaithful."

The people who actually stay at the Silver Fern are wicked awesome. Should you be thirsty for a Vodka Ice and you have no bottle opener ready, look for the rocker dude Darren, who can open bottles with his teeth.

Pillows are quite abundant in here, and should you need more pillows, the person to run to would be Daniel, who is the night manager. He loves pillows so much that he's willing to give everyone extra pillows. Word to the wise: when speaking to Daniel, make sure to use the "big" words such as "instantaneous" because he can only understand the hard words.

Si has reservado el Silver Fern, via web, OLVIDATE, porque eso hice yo, y me quede en la calle a la 1 de la mañana. Además, no tiene recepción 24h, vamos que me harté de timbrar y llamar a los telef q tienen alli puestos, y cuando milagrosamente en uno me cogieron, me dijo el buen hombre que él no sabía nada y que llamase por la mañana... asi que me tocó buscarme otro hostel. Si tienes mas dudas mandame un sms privado y te cuento¡

Alucino Ana que poca seriedad....o sea, que puedes reservar y dejarte en la calle'??

Aun dando entrada con la tarjeta de credito?? :shock:

Supongo que al reservar via web te puedes impromir lo que contratas y con eso poder hacer algo de fuerza a modo de indemnizacion..no se, no se...es que me he quedado flipado de lo que puede suponer una jugada asi... :roll:

Yo lo reserve via web, y al final de la reserva, tarjeta de crédico ilcluída, te decía que no recibirías nada en el mail si todo iba bien, que sólo recibías un mail si había algún problema. Yo le mandé 3 mails preguntado cosas y sin respuesta. Como me olía mal me llevé la dire de 3 o 4 hostels de la zona, y al final acabamos en el de una amiga que estaba allí tb, en la City. A mi lo que me preocupaba era un posible cargo a la tarjeta de crédito, asi q al día siguiente fuimos hasta allí en metro, y nos atendió un tio, todo chulo él, que me dijo que atencioooon... la web no funcionaba,.... q digo yo, la podían eliminar... en fin, y q de la tarjeta ni me preocupase. Y no tengo nungun cargo, pero vamos... y por cierto, lo poco q vi del hostel, la recepcion y poco más.. se caia a cachos.

Para alojamiento, yo os recomiendo www.hostelworld.com (http://www.hostelworld.com) que al hacer la reserva, te hacen un pequeño cargo a la tarjeta de 10-20 Euros, te dan un codigo de reserva... es una página que funciona con muchisimos hostels en el mundo, y esa va bien, ejjejeje.
